A world economy in recession injects major challenges into trip planning; a reduction in overtime, a reduction in spending power, and worst of all, a significant reduction in the number of operational parks. Since the middle of last year we've seen the demise of Camelot Theme Park (reopened), Celebration City, Hard Rock Park (reopened), New MetroLand, Thrill-Ville USA, and Wonder Rakutenchi, and there could well be more in the not too distant future.
